"First and Last" Open House
May 14, 2007

Serafina and Tracy were the first to arrive at today's "First and Last" Open House at the PB&JRR in Nipomo. Here Serafina is checking out the livestock at the Princess Farmstead.

And here she's watching the cattle drive with Fosterville in the background.

The Shamokin Yard.

Time to give the handcars a run.

She went from fitting into a crate on a flat car to operating a handcar on her own in the two short years in Nipomo.

They painted several "Happy Cakes" on the driveway.

Ken was the first real railroader to take a run on the PB&JRR today.

And Rob was next (President of the Santa Maria Valley Railroad). Thanks also to the Burns, Julie, Dr. Marcus, Dick, Diane, Karl, and Wayne for dropping by. We got so wrapped up in playing and talking trains that I forgot all about taking more pics.
