Ed Winnewisser The Bitter Creek Western Railroad lost a longtime friend, Ed Winnewisser, who passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was a long time railroader, which started at the Goleta Valley Railroad in 1962. Ed and his dear friend Gene Allen traveled all over the country visiting and riding railroads. Ed had the most fun teaching someone how to run his steam engine. He was a great teacher and ambassador for railroading as a hobby. He had the unique talent of being able to make everyone around him smile. He will be greatly missed. Obituary. |
