Pacific Coast Roundup

Information about the PCRR locomotives is available on the PCRR web site.

The Central Coast G Scalers set up a display.

New this year were speeder (motorcar) rides.

Ed Winnewisser ran his Purdy and Eastern.

Bitter Creek provided this 7.5" gauge train ride.

History of the Santa Margarita Ranch. Also, see the Santa Margarita Historical Society.

Rod Aszman's artwork drew quite a crowd. That's Rod looking at the camera.

It was also National Train Day today. See the happenings at the San Luis Obispo Amtrak Station when the two Coast Starlights met there in the afternoon.
Many Bitter Creek Western folks are also supporters of the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum (SLORRM) and the Pacific Coast Railroad (PCRR) at the Santa Margarita Ranch. Today was a fundraiser for the SLORRM at the PCRR.

Click here for great photos (as usual!) of the Roundup by Mike Massee.
