February 11-15, 2011 Austin, Texas Friday/Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Long Beach - talk about a vintage airport. First thing Saturday (after Starbucks) we headed for Zilker Park. This bronze sculpture is dedicated to three of Austin's mid-19th century heroes: Roy Bedichek, J. Frank Dobie and Walter Prescott Webb - The Philosophers. It's located right outside the gate to the Barton Springs swimming area and the Zilker Zephyr (ride-on train). The Zilker Zephyr runs right through the large playground area.
