Our first (and last!) destination was Heroes Bar and Grill, a mere 8-minute walk from the train station. Wow, what a place! We ended up with a 2.5-hour lunch Saturday, and a 3-hour breakfast on Sunday. 100 beers on tap! Great food. Huge portions. "Go big or go home!". Almost pulled into the station far enough. We had the last car of the train practically to ourselves. We threw the groom off the train at Grover Beach.
